Most of our work is in Omaha itself, from older neighborhoods like Dundee, Benson and Florence out to the newer subdivisions in west Omaha and Elkhorn, which became part of the city in 2007. We also work in the nearby cities that share the metro: Bellevue along the Missouri to the south, Papillion and La Vista in Sarpy County, Ralston, Gretna to the southwest, and Council Bluffs across the river in Iowa. Each of these cities handles permits and public sidewalks its own way, and housing ranges from 1950s ranches to brand-new builds, so the town pages note what we found about each one.
